I use HD bug remover, let it soak a bit then wipe the bugs off with a micro fiber cloth. I finish it up with Harley gloss and another clean micro cloth. My windshield looks great!

Soap and water, never windex or anything with chemcials. Any of the plexi cleaning products in this post are good for minor scratches or blemishes. Use a new microfiber cloth and the windshield will last a long time.

Let the baked on bug guts soak under a wet towel for five or ten minutes.

just be careful with that microfiber!! They can trap a small particle of grit and scratch the heck out of your windshield. Use the plexus Memphis shades says use only water in a spray bottle with one drop of dish liquid

NEVER use windex or paper towels! I use Novus and a H-D micro fiber towel. Use plastic cleaner only. Novus and Plexus are two good ones.

Watersoaked terrycloth towel to soak the windshield for a few minutes then dry with a fresh soft terrycloth towel. Have had a clear windshield for two years now. Also use HD bug remover when the bugs get real bad.

Plexus, Novuz #1, Pledge, all good. Paper towels, bad.
Use your best microfiber or one that was just washed to avoid scratches. No chemicals!

+1 for plexus for cleaning and covering small scratches and I am very impressed with the HD bug remover. Good price for product that works great. I don't let the splatters sit too long, usually clean the shield after every ride.
