I treat the windshield (and the entire bike) with REJEX. Then i wipe down with a damp microfiber towel as needed. Bug guts come right off. No scrubbing.

Default Wet v.s. dry

To the anti-paper towel crowd:

I learned the hard way that a dry paper towel is indeed like sandpaper (my apologies to the guy I sold that car to), but I also think as long as it is good and wet, paper towel fibers are as soft as any fancy schmancy cloth.

Nothing beats Plexus and a microfibre cloth. I even carry a small can when I travel.

FYI when you buy a Cee Bailey windshield they also give you a free small bottle of cleaner and a free cleaning cloth.

I have an F4 windshield made with a special process called speed glass. They have a demo at rallies using a wiper and steel wool on a windshield treated with 1/2 speed glass. They recommend windex and a new paper towel. On regular lexan windshields, Plexus is hard to beat. Any ammonia based cleaner will ultimately damage your windshield.

I remove bugs with a 50/50 water/peroxide solution, then a hot damp clean terry cloth towel.

Plexus, Pledge or soap and water for cleaning. Microfiber cloths are best, Soft cotton is a second choice.
Novus products to remove scratches. Second choice is Meguiars Plast-X.
