That is the comment I got about my 1 month old 2009 RG at a lunch stop where I ran into a group of H-D riders. Told the guy I appreciated his opinion but I have only owned sport touring bikes in the past and that funky looking fairing kind of reminded me of a sport tourer.
I wanted to tell him I really didn't give a damn about his opinion unless he wanted to help pay for what I rode but thought being nice was the higher road to take.
