1 pc. vs 2 pc. Bar Clamp
Guys, I've read on here where some of you guys have swapped the 2 pc. bar clamps for a 1 pc. I went to my local HD dealer (that NEVER has what I need in stock), I ask about the 1 pc. clamp and the girl looked at me like I was nuts, kept asking me what year my bike was, etc. etc. When did HD change to the 1 pc., I guess I gotta know exactly what year to get the part!!!! I changed my 2 piece to a one piece when I put the sweeper bars on. It's a better design and really give the bars a more "connected" feel. I also change out the bushings to poly and that firmed up the feel too. I think HD started using the one piece in '06 or '07. Maybe Dawg can confirm that, he's the walking parts book here.
