I have the back bars on my bike. I was down at the dealer Sat to have them adjusted to where I want them. It could be 2 weeks before I get to ride with them. I did like the bend better then the stock bars. And I jsut felt more comfortable. Sorry I can't tell you more yet.
When the dealer put my back bars on they must have thought they were mini apes. It was a tough reach for me. It is hard to tell how much I will like them until I get to ride it.
Does anybody have some good pictures of these bars? I can't find a place that has a pair so I can feel the bend. I have a bad right wrist with fused bones and need less of an inward bend at the hands. Before buying the FLHT I rode drag bars always for the hand position.
There is no way I am giving this bike up...so find the right bars!
Any help appreciated!
What other companies make bars with similar hand position? I agree that $200 is alot, but for comfort I will pay the price. Factory bars hurt my arm so I need to find better bars before heading for Laconia!
Mike bike will be out of storage in the next week. I will see if I can get a friend to take some pics. The KW stuff is more expensive. But my experience with KW has been great. (customer service). I had a problem with my bars and they had new ones to me in 2 days. They also did a few other things for me that other places would have not.
If I had to get new bars again I would go with the KW again. I thought they were very comfortable. I went with the back bars.
