Default Lid Rails

Anyone have any experience with these lid rails? I like the three rail look, but they have no protection for the front of the lid. Any experience, opinions, problems, compliments?

It's all a matter of taste. None of us have the same. If you like em, go for it. You won't see too many in the Touring section. Most folks apparently don't care much for the look. There is a practicality aspect however, so do what YOU think is right for your bike and your riding type. If you're going to be strapping something on them alot, then that's a completely different story.

I think they are kinda gross. Get Harley ones if must use them.
I put a set of rails on my bike and then decided I didn't like them so now I have hole where there shouldn't be holes.

Yeah, I think sticking with the MoCo rails is probably the best bet.
Thanks

I have the Harley ones and think they look good on my bike. The ones in the picture, have a center bar that mine dont have. Donno about the chrome quality from the ones on ebay, but the HD chrome is holding up pretty good.

Ive got the HD rails and they are ok-do the job. Black shows every little scuff so thats why I got them. Rivco Products makes nice stuff if you want somthing different.

I have them and the place where the shoe scuffs happen has the widest opening.I still scuff the lid.The chrome arrow shaped trim may work better.I like the look.I would get that clear protective plastic if I could do it over.
