I've got T's from Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iceland, Aruba, Germany, London, etc., etc., and all over the United States. My job required lots of travel, and if I didn't go there, someone in my office DID, and they'd always bring me back a shirt. Good times. I've got plastic tubs full of em, and my wife says she wants me to sell em for $1.00 a piece. NO WAY!!
A good friend of mine just got back from Aruba - I hate him. At least, I used to hate him until he gave me a Dealer shirt from Aruba.
Some friends of mine think that you're not "technically allowed" to wear a dealer shirt from a specific place unless you've personally been there.
Do you guys agree with that?
More over, if anyone lives somewhere "in the sticks," I'd love to make a trip to one of the Milwaukee dealerships, or even the MoCo to get you a shirt - if you'd do the same for me.
(I'd REALLY like to get one from the York, PA Plant - where my Roadie was "born.")
I got one from Kuwait, Nagoya Japan and one from When I was in Iraq from Military Sales.. I won't wear a Hd Tee unless I was there to buy it, I know a lot of guys do trade them. And it's all good.
Have over 350 HD T-Shirts and still counting. My close riding buddy, Duff travels all over with his wife, Sexy Butt and their 6 y.o. son, Benny Boy (He's my god son) and gets me T-Shirts as well as my lady, Linda and I do the very same. All's well in the very end.
Told my Linda...When I die someday, My wish is that every members of my family and friends pick up a T-Shirt in the funeral home and take it home to cherish our wonderful memories we had together over the years.
I wear HD T-Shirts, Jeans and Boots every day no matter what. Wedding, Funeral, Birthday Parties, Work Meetings (Even my bosses told me to abide their dress code as I say F...you, Take it or leave it) and visiting my kids at their school. Basically, This is who I am.
Ok, I have to post in this thread. I also travel a lot for business and even if I don't ride there I get the t-shirt. Best ones I have are from Columbia and South Africa. Pretty much every shirt I have other than dress clothes has HD on it...my wife also says I have too many shirts but then I tell her she has too many shoes!
Just a note, but the ones I have that come from far away like Columbia I get two and keep on to hang up in my office at home.
For any one that's interested you can go on Harley T shirts.com. You can pick the state and any dealer that's represented there will have shirts displayed back and front. Some states will have multiple dealerships represented. Once you open up the state the dealerships will be shown and then when you open up the dealership the individual shirts will be shown. Some dealerships have more shirts displayed than others. If your looking to just acquire t shirts it's a good place to go. They even have some foreign countries as well.
