I really like mine, and it works very well with the sears red jack. Like someone said be sure to also have the jiffy stand down. I start with mine on the center stand and then jack it up. Part of the jack on the stand and part on the frame tubes, the rear tire comes up first but is very stable.

Good point! I leave the bike in gear and chalk the front tire if I'm doing any work.

I was to all set to buy the whelldock because the Rivco wont be available till april .Then someone posted that they were attaching a tourpak and the bike rolled of the stand and onto its side..I have done alot of work with my bike on the centerstand and the bike never moved and you dont need wood to get the wheels of the ground the draw back is its more difficult to get up than the wheeldock and u cant do it sitting on bike..For my money u cant get a better centerstand than Rivco...

I also like the Wheeldock, and bought it during the group buy before Christmas. I agree with the other posts re: plywood etc..I use mine all the time and it is very easy for this 74 year old man to get his 2001 FLHPI on the center stand. Also, I have removed and replaced my saddlebags, tourpack, etc, and have never had a problem with moving the bike. That is because I also read the post and am very careful when I work on the bike and keep this in mind, along with keeping the jiffy stand down. the Wheeldock is, in my opinion, a great product, made in the U.S.A., at a very reasonable price. Love the Wheeldock center stand -- best mod ever. No problem using a lift and I also have the TWR stabilizer. The two fit comfortably together.

Hmmm....sounds like a good option. Especially because I use the Sears jack. So let me ask you this...what do you with the front (left) skid before lifting? I ask this because the center stand mounts inside of the cross member, which makes the rear (right) lifting point lower and of unequal height.
