I just heard an interview on the radio with the head of the California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B.) and he stated this was simply untrue. CARB has NEVER considered banning black vehicles. This was started by some **** siting made up sources. Just like Rush "Limbo" does. It sounds like it could be true, and no one checks the facts. Lazy people who let other people do their thinking for them fall for this crap over and over.

Man, if they are concerned about cooling the cars down, the heat gain is from the windows, or a good portion of it, better place to start in my opinion. I run window tint on my black cars and I bet I use less AC then comparable white colored vehicles.
