I received my arc amp, speakers rings, harness, dynaxorb, and 6.5 inch speakers yesterday from Firecap. I read long and hard on this forum and others to make the best possible buy for the money spent. I decided to to go Wane and did not regret it!
The equipment went into my 08 SG. It took me approximately 3 hrs of putzing around in the garage to get everything installed. This is my first Harley so if i can do it you can too. The hardest part is running the power lines under your tank without taking your tank off. There is a new wiring kit that is essentially plug and play, and it took me a bit to figure out how the rings/speakers went in.
I decided not to get a new HU until the warranty expires. That not being done the system still sounds excellent with the new upgrades. Now if i can wait that LONG to get a new HU, it will most likely make the setup phenomenal.
I have to give a shout out to KopperTop's posting about the ring installs that really help. I didn't have to call Wayne until I the very last part. Wayne thanks for the great service and great product.
Once I get on the road I will leave some more feedback.
