Smile Installed Hogtunes today

Finally got around to putting in my Hogtunes today. The sound difference over stock
is amazing. I was blown away by my new sound.I am one happy old man. For those of
you that are not sure if you can do this swap yourself, believe me it's a piece of cake.
Having an extra set of hands helped. Look at the instructions on this forum & go for it.

Pez is the man.THESE THINGS ARE AWESOME!

What a coincidence! Maybe we've all caught something contagious. I got my Hogtunes amp last year in May, and I just decided to install it today since I had a free hour...that's right, took me an hour and fifteen minutes. Great product, clear instructions.

Installed mine bout a month ago and love them. I found online that you should use caution buying them online from anyone other than Hogtunes.com because last year they recalled a bunch of speakers and they did not ask for the old speakers back. So as of recently they found the defective speakers were being sold on ebay and other similar websites.

I just bought the new Hogtunes part #902.2-AA from Heritage Cycle Works $96 shipped. They are the new model that is 20% louder.

Guys, this has been posted over and over, Pez will not honor warranty on HOG TUNES that are not purchased from him personally, for the exact reasons listed above. His prices and service are fantastic, gives forum members a discount. Buyer Beware elsewhere!

When you say you installed your Hogtunes, does that really mean you put in the Hogtunes AMP and speakers, and wired it into your current system? If so, mind sharing the price?

This is the first I heard of the speaker recall. Do you have any details? I bought my UltraSound system (includes two 2ohm speakers) back in 2007. Are these speakers ones that were recalled?
