Go to YouTube and do a search for my video's under the user name SKULLHUNTOR
I have a few video's of Hogtune speakers with different configurations.
1998 Classic with 4 HT speakers (fairing & rear pods) with the HD amp under the tourpak.
2007 SG with 2 HT speakers (fairing) & no amp.
2007 SG with 4 HT speakers (fairing & tweeter pod) & no amp.
2007 Ultra with 4 HT speakers (fairing & rear pods) & no amp.
2007 Ultra with 6 HT speakers (fairing, rear pods & lower front fairings) WITH the HT amp.
Lastly I have the 2007 Ultra with EIGHT speakers (the above with HT tweeters) but
I have not done a video yet. I still got the front fairing off because I am waiting for a
direct wiring kit for my Garmin Nuvi 500 before I put it back on (delivery is set for today).

Have the 5 1/4" speakers in the fairing too. GREAT SOUND!!! Im wondering if one can install Pez's amp for just the fairing speakers. Im considering buying the fairing lowers and installing Pez's amp kit, but Im wondering how it'll be with the SE Texas summers (heat & humidity).

YUP !
I have them in the Lowers and there is a quick disconnect for when I take them off
in the Summer ! Pez even has the fairing lower's setup so each side has a different
size connector. So when you put them back on you CAN'T make a mistake weither
which connector (that is still on bike) goes to which lower fairing.
Right now I have Pez's amp powering my Tweeters, upper & lower front speakers
and the stock radio powers the rear pods. As soon as I installed the tweeters I tried
listening to the new setup and the Wife came running out of the house telling me I
am gonna get a ticket for playing my music that loud when I ride into the City .... LOL ..

Hey Billy,
Yes you can, I have Pez's amp on my '09 SG running just his 5 1/4's in the fairing and it make's a huge differance. I'm looking forward to installing the tweeter pod next. I think the amp is the biggest back for the buck........Putt
For those of you that say the HD brand 3 pouch windshield bag fits nice with the Hogtunes tweeter pod, I would like for you to show/tell me the secret to fitting it without extra pressure on the windshield/fairing and extra distortion to the bag. I think I will be selling the bag.
Thanks.
I'm with tmac - I'm about to add the Hogtunes pod and I dont want to lose my 3-pouch as I use it all the time. Is there anything special I need to do - lower the drill holes 1/4 in, leave windshield loose, bend the bag mounting tabs, ... ?
My 3 pouch T-Bags sorta fits with the tweeter pod - I had to shove down on the bags pretty hard, then tighten up the windshield screws to keep it in place. I figure the bags will eventually conform to the shape of the tweeter pod.
I did replace the press in fairing bolts with the new style screw in ones from Harley. I think the old press ins would have popped out from the additional pressure I had to put on them...
" did replace the press in fairing bolts with the new style screw in ones from Harley."
Do tell - I've not heard of any new type bolts - I'm assuming you're talking about the windshield mounting bolts? They have a new upgrade to replace the molded/glued in brass inserts?
