Default Tool needed or fluid change

I have changed my fluids in e-glide but always need to loosen and relocate the rear left foot brace to get to one screw on the primary inspection cover. It sits behind the foot peg and a ratchet is too deep to fit. Does anyone know of a short tipped torx head tool that works well and maybe where to order it or other information? Thanks for help.

Get a Torx tip for a multi-tip driver at any fastener supplier and use it in conjunction with a 5/15 wrench.

or you could put on some floorboard extenders to give yourself more room. The problem i've run into with using the Torx bit and a wrench is not being able to put much force on the bit, and usually even the bit gets tight after the screw starts to back out.

I'm just curious, what fluids do you change that require you to temporarly relocate the brake pedal.

Thanks... I guess I overlook the easy solutions. As my torx are permanently attached to the socket heads, I did not think about the single torx insert. I will check on the torx tip only and maybe see if it can be ground down a bit on the back end to better allow it to fit the wrench (since clearance may still be limited)... in any event, you have given me a starting place. I did not consider the foot rest extentions and will check that out as well... I use the Kuryakyn adjustable rear foot pegs and don't want her too comfortable to fall asleep :-) THANKS for the help!

You misread the comment :-) "rear left foot brace". Thanks, and hope that helps...

Same here. Also, makes things a lot easier if/when clutch adjustment is necessary.
