Default Front Wheel Spin

OK so now that I have purchased my jack, I have my 08 Road King up in the air and I notice that when I spin my front wheel, there is some resistance. Is this normal? It seems as though the disk brakes are rubbing against on the rotor. My bike only has 200 miles on it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

front brakes DO "grab" the rotors ever so lightly when bike is NOT in motion.

Mine does this as well. It's normal. When pushing the bike you can also hear the pad/rotor contact.

The brake pads will always rub the discs slightly. When the brakes are applied the pistons push the brake pads against the discs. When the brakes are released the pressure on the pistons, and therefor the discs is relieved, but the pads do not retract.

It depends on how much resistance.

How much or how little does the wheel turn with "non-forceful" spin?
