For a non-mechanic it was a relatively easy job. Would have been done in about 1 hour 45 minutes but I had a complete brain fart on the air filter install. Pictures in the directions would have helped a great deal. Couldn't figure out for the life of me why the back plate wouldn't sit flush and didn't realize the top "black bracket" had to be removed. Once I realized it and sat there with damn allen wrench for about 15 minutes getting that bugger off, I recalled reading another post about someone having same hang up.

All in all it was easy. I re-used the muffler clamps and that was another thing that slowed me down quite a bit as they were a b*$&h to get on to the new mufflers.

Anyway, didn't get to ride it, and prob. won't even tomorrow except a mile or two to test out as the wind here is ridiculous, calling for 50 mph gusts.

Did fire it up and sounded pretty decent, a little quieter than I expected, but I look forward to hearing it when actually riding. Will report back once I test it out.

Thanks again for the posts and support.

Bill

Good point for anyone installing these. Place the loose muffler clamps onto the Jackpot flanges before slipping them over the headpipes. I made the same mistake.

Let us know what you think after a good first run.

That is one of the reasons I like this setup. It isnt too loud at start up or idle, but it has a real nice rumble and bark when you get on the throttle a bit. You will see, once the wind subsides a bit.

Ok, one more question, maybe two...

I was over cleaning up things on bike and tightening up. Turned on and let run a bit and when I was about to call it a day, noticed the rubber gasket on the air cleaner cover had fallen off, doesn't seem to go on very tight, anyone have this problem? feels like its all the way pushed on? thoughts.

Tomorrow is looking nice here in Delaware, and I can't wait to ride and check out the new system. Hoping gasket stays on!

The rubber gasket is not supposed to stay on. It is only meant o be a seal between the outer air cleaner cover and inner plastic housing. You remove it any time you install an open type of air cleaner.

I finally got to put some miles on the new "Power Package" and was quite impressed. As I stated in earlier post, the idling sound of the dyno'd jackpots were not as loud as I expected. However, the sound of the exhaust while riding is much more to my liking. I am not sure if I would want it too much louder, time will tell how satisfied I am on the sound.

But, I am very happy with the throttle response and overall package. The performance and not the sound was the main reason I purchased this package after reading so many posts and seeing the dyno results at Fuel Moto, so I am not disappointed at all. It delivered as promised.

Thanks to all who have spoken about this product, and especially Jamie at Fuel Moto for all the work he and his group has done in putting this package together!
