I am satisfied with the stock mufflers on my 09 ultra classic.I was thinking of getting the
se aircleaner and a harley stage one download at the dealer.Has anyone done this and can I get some feedback on it.Would I be gaining anything or wasteing money? thanks
I just had two dyno tunes on my month old 09 Ultra. I installed Rinehart slip on mufflers and a SE Ventilator a/c and had them tune it on the dyno with a SERT. I thought the mufflers were to loud so i took them off and had it dyno tuned again. With the stock mufflers it made almost 2.5 more hp and torque. The stock mufflers are a lot louder with the se a/c on and it runs really hard and smooth. I wanted the extra tq taking off because the bike is so heavy. It now pulls very easy from a stop with two up. So all in all i think the SERT is the way to go even if it does cost 460.00
I put on the SE air cleaner, SE slip-ons and download. Very pleased with the performance and sound. Mufflers just a little louder than stock.
Ditto, I no longer like real loud mufflers and have had the SE Performance Touring mufflers on my last two bikes. A little louder than stock but perfectly fine for touring. You can do the SE ac and download and leave the stock mufflers. You will still get a slight performance increase. Add the mufflers later if you like.

Rogros, I did exactly this to mine. I'm only a few miles from you. Come ride mine and see what you think. I'll PM a phone number.
