Heck, then even supplied an alcohol pad to clean any dirt/grease off the top of the ECU and PC V. Mine went under the seat. Very easy install.

Tried to install between the tank and the battery like the instructions said, but soon came to realize that it is impossible without putting to much strain on the ECM wiring harness or the purge valve lines. (the fit is extremely tight for piece of mind) So first I fished the male connector of the PCV under the frame to the right side cover. Then the female connector of the bikes harness under the frame to the side cover. Once I connected those two together I connected the male connector of the PCV to the bikes ECM. Last two steps was to just stick the PCV module on top of the bikes ECM and attached the O2 simulators. It was a breeze to install.

The PCV module I mounted on top of the bikes ECU/ECM. The wiring harness I decided to mont under the right side cover. It allowed the wiring to all of the harnesses to have nice flowing loops without putting what looked like would be too much of a bend on the wires and strain on the wire-to-harness connections. It just seemed to fit a lot better that way without having to cram stuff in. On the plus side I do not have an ABS module under the right side cover which I believe is mounted there with bikes that have it.

Maybe I will take some pics so people that haven't installed it can see. The instructions have some pics but I could not tell were they had the final location for the harness.

If you are careful I fit the PCV harness 1st under the frame near the right side front of the battery. Then poked it into the side cover through the hole there. 2nd I followed the same route with the ECM harness and then plugged them together. I did not have to remove anything but the seat and side cover on my bike. The battery stayed in. Was much easier that way.

The good part is that fuelmoto will email you new maps, and the SW works real easy.
Yah, tell me about it! Ran out of green backs...had enough money for one more mod right now, and figured this would be the best bang for the buck. I just had them put a map on for the slip-ons and will program it later for the A/C, then the cams. Will gladly take donations for a stage1 A/C kit

I installed mine today before I read your post. I did exactly the same thing you did. It looked like it would take some magic to fit it between the battery box and the tank.
Thanks!
