Default E3 Spark Plugs

Has anyone used the E3 Spark Plugs that are advertised on the forum? Do they really help your fuel mileage?

The spark plug doesn't control how much fuel is sent to the cylinder. It simply creates a spark. Some may add that a good efficent spark will conserve fuel, but, I'm thinking the primary means to affect fuel milage is through the fuel management.

Just my thoughts.

I had them on my 05 sportster and really didn't notice a difference. I also put one in my lawnmower and same thing, not anything noticable. I'm sticking with the stock plugs in my copglide.

Just some more snake oil. The plain old standard spark plug will do just as well and last just as long as the overpriced ones. I know some will disagree, but I think even platinum plugs are a waste of money in our scoots if you follow your maintainence schedule.

I tried one in my push lawnmower and I noticed 3,000 more RPM, more mid range torque, and about a 12mpg increase.

LOL! Call me for your next 12 mile lawnmower run. I'll bring the beer.

Default E 3 plugs.

I used to run E3 plugs in my 99 ultra. I didn't notice any change either. I took it in to Harley for an electrical problem and they told me that Harleys do not run good with E3 plugs. It also voids the warranty. My warranty has been out for years and I'm not sure if they are saying that to sell their plugs or not. To be on the safe side, I stopped using them.
