The 2002 and newer front forks are no longer air ride. Than is why the lowering kit in the Harley catalog is listed for 2002 and above. Prior to 2002 (like my Screamin Eagle) they were air ride. Of course you still have the air adjustable rear shocks.
Where you from. My dad was a pipefitter in Cincinnati,OH. Died in 1974 just before he was to start on one of the first Nuke Power Plants.
