The 2002 and newer front forks are no longer air ride. Than is why the lowering kit in the Harley catalog is listed for 2002 and above. Prior to 2002 (like my Screamin Eagle) they were air ride. Of course you still have the air adjustable rear shocks.

Hey Pipefitter,
Where you from. My dad was a pipefitter in Cincinnati,OH. Died in 1974 just before he was to start on one of the first Nuke Power Plants. From the time I was a little boy he worked as General Foreman on numerous power plants. The reason I got into Harleys was because of his Harley riding friends who worked with him (pipefitters too) who used to come over to my house and take me for rides.
