The black comes from the fact that it's a 2-stage paint. The actual 09 custom color is Black Ice/ Blue Ice, which is Ice Pearl sprayed over Flame Blue and Vivid Black. Ice Pearl does something different on every color you spray it on. Just like the dragonfly from 07. It was actually a yellow pearl sprayed over black.
