Default Question about adjusting bars

Hey Guys
I finally got my bike back from storage. But it's still too cold to ride. I had some Klock Werks Ergo back installed. I still want to lower them just a bit. But even with they way they are adjusted now I dont like the position of the levers. They are tilted up. The clutch cable will not clear the bars. If I slide the whole assembly out about 1/4 if an inch I can put them where I want them. Would it be a big deal if it the grips hung off the bars about 1/4 of an inch? I hope I worded this right. It is Monday morning. lol.
Thanks
Eric

I dont' think you will be able to do this. The grips are seeded inside the switches which have a cable for wireing coming out of them. Most bars have internal wiring wholes or dimpleing that require the switches to be placed just so on the bar. Rotating shouldn't be much of a problem but I think moving their location on your bars to a point further out probably would be. Alos the left side grip is probably glued so you may need to cut it off to attempt to relocate it.
