Can anyone give me any info about the HD batwing bras? Will it fit on a Wide Open Customs..detachable faring?
I am thinking that I would like the look, with the RK custom leather covered bags.
anyone have pics of a RK with a batwing Bra?
thanks
I do not have pictures to show but do have a friend that put a HD batwing bra on his Wide Open Custom detatchable fairing and it looks great. He did it as a "temporary measure" until he could get around to painting it. I believe his bike is Pearl Ice white so the unpainted inner fairing with the bra on the outside doesn't really stand out. Since it is now eight months later and still not painted, I think he is kind of satisfied with it the way it is.
I had a RK Custom with a Hoppe Industries fairing. The fairing was unpainted but I liked the look with the bra so i left it that way. The Harley bra doesn't fit the Hoppe all that great. I'll try to attach a pic.
Thanks for the info and the pic, I do like the way the bra looks!!
I think I will try one out, I ordered the Wide Open Custom Fairing yesterday, I plan on painting the inside, satin or textured black and adapt the "batwing bra" on the outside
might not fit perfectly but, that is the general look I want.... think it would look better to me than "Yellow Pearl" like the color of my bike,
(don't want that much Yellow) I will post pics. when I get to that point.
I am trying to figure out what to do with the signal lights... I'm guessing they won't be visable with the fairing on. will need a clean looking mount/location for them with the fairing on and off.
ANY IDEAS??
thanks
