Thanks for the heads up Bgill. I have fired off an email to V&H technical regarding your situation so we will see what/if they reply back! My bet is "gee that's the first we have heard of it" but time will tell.

I would too but only if they gave me a written warranty against this issue reoccurring in the first 3 years.
I was running them with Power Duals but returned them when my Indy offered full credit after a year or so of use.
Loved the look, sound and uniquenss of these slip-ons but the chrome on the billet tips kept bubbling up and flaking off. V&H sent me replacments twice free of charge but the issue kept reoccuring so I finally gave up.
Bgill, when did you finally return them or receive your last bad tip? Just wondering if they maybe had a bad production run.
