Can anybody recommend a better locking pin than what's supplied with the FLHT saddle bags.
A part number and whose supplies them would be very beneficial.
I believe there was a post on the old forum with regards to stainless steel pins but unfortunately I can't seem to locate that information.
Thanks and safe ridin'....

I put 5/16 SS cap screws and locking nuts on mine. Secures the bags a lot better and only takes a min. longer to take off. It takes a thief about 10 sec and a long screwdriver to pop the back clips and be gone with your bags and their contents. Just my .02
Somewhere on here is a how - to on using 1/2 copper pipe to cover the external parts so they can't be stolen. Cheap and effective. I keep meaning to do that mod.
