Hi I just joined. I am looking to buy a Street Glide next week and wounder what I should expect to pay. I want ABS, Alarm and Cruise Control with the package.
Thanks for the help and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.
I would say most places you would pay MSRP + freight and shipping. Look on the HD website under your specific model then look at the "price with options tab". It seems the genral consensus is you might be able to get the freight and shipping waived. Any deals below MSRP would be dealer and location dependant. The 09s seem to be in pretty high demand however, so I wouldn't expect to get many great deals.
Nice. I got a qoute for the 09 with ABS Cruise, Security for 20,600 plus tax and License. seems high, the web site shows MSRP at just unter 19K. whats the scoop?
I got mine here from my local Harley dealer. They gave me more for my trade by $2,500.00 and they took off almost $1,000 off the MSRP of my 2009 Street Glide. My 2009 Street Glide is Pewter Pearl.
Mine with all taxes and fees was about $23K. It should have been $24K.
It all depends on what your local sales tax and registration fees are. My sales tax rate was 8.25% (As of April 1, 2009 is now 9.25%) and DMV fees are most likely higher than most other states.
PM me if you want and I will grab my paperwork and give you a complete and total breakdown of what I paid out the door.
The out the door price was 22500. do you think it would be likely to find one for 21500-22000 OTD. or would I be waisting my time. THe color is vivid Black. Pearl Black would be extra. I am Located In CA and I am in the 9.25 tax rate. they qouted me 22500 OTD already but I dont think they know my tax rate.
