We've got a neighborhood kook, I mean this guy is literally crazy, I'm pretty sure it was him but can't prove it. Needless to say it's in the garage now, just piszez me off the bike is brand new and already has a blemish, I think I'll try the local telecommunications store for a tip or just buy another one.
Hope that he is not one of those "I'll steal it one piece at a time" guys. They are not very expensive, went through 3 0r 4 antennas on my 05 from getting caught in the garage overhead door. They used to end up looking like that cartoonrat with the ziz zag tail.
You left your bike in the driveway all night? I have to do that when I travel but never at home. Sorry to hear someone was messing with your ride.
Hey, if I want to take mine to work, I have to leave it out over night. There is no way i'm going to get it out of the shed, through the back yard (Uphill) and out the driveway without someone complaining to the police about noise at 4:30am. I even have to push it out to the street before starting it and riding off. So if it rains the night before I want to take it, I leave it stored away. Sucks without a garage, but I did build a nice shed specificaly for the bike and to do all my work on it there too.
It probably fell off. One of mine on my '09 UC fell off, I asked the dealer about a new one and the only way to get the rubber tip is buy a new antenna. Larry
I would like to know how the hell he got the damn thing off, I've tried to remove mine so I can cut down the antenna then replace the tip, can't get that sucker off seems like it's molded right to the antenna
