stop slow and easy.

Greetings, Anybody have any good tips for riding the big touring bikes on gravel driveways, pull off's etc. Thanks
i usually ride in the car tire prints in the drive way or ride the grass next to the road.either way take it easy like everyone else said.very easy turning around .
Get the bike moving, shift to 2nd gear (lower ratio, less potential for rear tire to get squirrely) then put your feet out like outriggers, until you reach a paved surface (I usually keep my speed under 10 mph or so on gravel surfaces, maybe even lower like 5 mph).
