Was using the cig plug for the Sirius radio. I hardwired it on the recent Hogtunes tweeter pod install. Been running now 2 weeks with the cigarette lighter back in the plug. Yesterday left the house to gas up and when got onto the street I felt something hit my foot. Did not see what it was. Came back home and saw a crushed cigarette lighter in the road. Looked down and sure enough it was mine. Now have a need for the $1 Mod
Here's something to go in your cig lighter...not as inexpensive as dawgs suggestion...but might be useful....not sure if it would withstand the rain though...
