just asked a question about disabling the rear abs,, excuse me ,,not your opion about riding and FU I'm not not a troll.. newbe answer from sombody that looks like they just started on a 07 sporty probally never even rode before 07 ,, been riding for over 35 years , don't need your crap now I'm gonna go out and drink and ride my bike
Now wait one minute Francis you be careful doing those rear wheel skids with your schwinn Apple Crate Dragster Bike. And have a sasparilla on me.
Still 2009 UC ABS disabled, 1000# Rear Wheel Skid.
Just remove the brake side rear wheel bearing and install a standard one or install it backwards. No rear ABS and the moron can tell everybody at the bar how agressive he is then. Anyone with the ABS can tell you how good it works. He must be smarter. The hops and yeast does that.
I don't have ABS, but how can you say that. LEO's are some of the best riders out there and they fully endorse them? Not a very adult statement on your part.
I've been riding only 25 yrs, so hell, I don't even use brakes anymore. To answer your idiotic question, your buddy can swap out the right rear wheel bearing with a non-ABS one. Presto no rear ABS, but he'll still be stupid
Before anyone tries this, be aware that the system will set a missing speed sensor signal code, turn on the ABS light and DISABLE the ABS system, front and rear. It seems to me if you want to disable the ABS it would be much easier to pull the fuse or unplug a sensor. ABS systems are all or none if the ABS control unit senses a fault in the system the ABS light is turned on and the system is deactivated, and then you have a normal braking system.
09 uc can rear abs be disbled by removing a fuse or something ? my budy is an agressive rider and has almost got in a couple wrecks because he can't lock the rear, moved up from a 94 st and could make it do what he wanted during braking ie slid etc ,, we've been riding together ~20 yrs and have seen em do some **** that he can't do now ... thanks for any input except please don't need to hear advise on riding
If you guys knew anybody from "THE REGION" you would know this is logical thought...
Heck...why dont ya just remove the rear break pedal
mdst
from the tone of your original question and the infantile followup posts you have made you seem to be in the 18 to 22 range, anyone with any common sense knows that you do not get out of a wreck by locking up the rear wheel, and one does not "throw around" a Electra Glide, if you want to throw a bike around and do the front wheel brake stand get yourself one of those crotch rocket donorcycles.
