Default RKC White Walls

Got caught up in some rain over the week end and got a reality check on just how bad my tires were. Visual check they looked good the rain I ran into this week end had a different opinion. Those who rides RKC and change their tires. Did you stick with the white walls or did you get standard black wall tires? If so, care to share what they look like. Just trying to get another view how the RKC look without the white walls.

Can't even imagine not having white walls on my RKC. I think they make the bike. Just my opinion. Magic Eraser works wonders on keeping them clean.

Always Loved a RKC with whitewalls. I just think they go together.

IMO, it needs to have white walls.

I was thinking the same thing when I got my RKC but, now I wouldn't have anything but the white walls (my 2cents)

You guys are making this tough on me. I just got a set of rims to replace my lace spokes on my RKC due to it being too hard to keep the spokes looking like new. I was going to put a set of blackwalls on to make it easier to clean, but will probably end up swapping my whitewalls to the new rims now that I've read this thread. Here are my new rims, and they do look like brand new: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...62853&viewitem=

Changed them to black last tire change. Definitely a different look. I like!

The white walls are what makes the Road King Classic look like a classic. In my opinion.
