How much louder are the cfr's compared to the monster ovals? I don't want a head ache after 500 miles but I've heard the monster ovals might be to quiet for my liking. Any input and maybe a good drive by and drive off video of the cfr's could help me out a lot.

Nice Bike there Rick. So before you put the True Duals on, How loud were the CFR's ? I've got Rush 2" on my 09 SG. I'm lookin for something a little louder and deeper. But still need to be able to sneak out of town in the early AM, without Pi$$ing off the neighbors.

Very nice lookin scoot Rick. Love the apes. If I am not mistaken there is a sound clip of the cfr's at idle on the "post sound bytes thread". I have Bassani Megaphones with stock head pipes. I think the cfr's are louder at idle. Don't know about drive by, never had a chance to hear any of them. Keep up the good work on the King.

The cfr are basically a deeper tone and louder than the MO's that i used to have.At idle still nice rumble and deep tone not real loud but louder than mo's.When the duals went on it did get significantly louder but not obnoxious. If i take it easy they are a constant deep tone not overly loud, once the throttle is hit they roar.

Mind if I ask how much the header pipes ran ya? Love the bike. I've heard the CFR's and they sound incredible. If I only had the money to put them on myself...
