Hitch made by Bushtec. They are not cheap but in my opinion they are the best. Receiver slides up into fender. Solid mount. I have provided the link. Check it out.
Hitchdoc has them now. I just put mine on about 2 weeks ago. The nice thing about it is that is is all crome and you can not even tell it is there once you remove the reciever.
cap5369---what did you use for a wiring harness and plug in? Is the plug out of sight when not using the hitch?
bksmoky – When I bought the Starlight trailer they gave me the wire harness. I used the plug and play adaptor on the lights then spliced from the adaptor to the wire harness. When I take the receiver off I use a tie wrap and tuck it up under the fender. There is a flat bar under the fender I coil it up and tie wrap it under the fender out of site. I also use black electrical tape and tape the end so no dirt gets inside the plug.
I put a Bushtec on mine. When not used it can be removed simply by removing a pin leaving only the hardware on the bike which you wouldn't even know you have the bike setup for a trailer hitch.
I bought my plug and play from MCHitch. You will have an adaptor that comes off of the plug and play with your wires that you will use to tape into the wire harness going to the trailer. This is the one that I used.
