do any of you lose clarity with your speakers at higher speeds ??? iam not sure whats happening but it seems like my speakers are clear when bike is still...was wondering if the wind blowing in around headlight could be affecting it....raining now but maybe this weekend i am putting the lens back on to see if it changes.....i have the ARC amp and speakers
all i noticed was it took me 5x as long to clean the bugs off my front end with the SERG bezel. to many newly created crevices for me to leave it on permanent. ill roll it to pose, but not for any long rides. i dont hear any difference in speakers though.
Could it be the rubber gasket shrunk due to dry conditions?
i was looking at a new serg at the dealers and it looked like they had a rubber ring between lamp and bezel ,i dont have that ....thats why iam thinking maybe thats my problem.....trying not to pull my fairing again to adjust amp.....
I don't have a gasket either. No issues with my radio but now I'm wondering if I need a gasket for wet weather. Anyone else go without a gasket? I assume it is a seperate part number

I am using the SERG bezel and I haven't heard of the gasket / grommet as of yet.
Will check with a dealer local to me.
I have the SERG part manual at home, hopefully I will have time tonight and I will try to give a part number if there is 1. Nice weather up here and no wife and kid today, so a nice looooooong ride is in sort order.

Lucky you!
Back in Denver they are to get a foot of snow over the weekend.
I am in DC for 2 days, then off to Europe for meetings.
Ok, so after a few days, I finally remembered and had the time to look at the parts book. Sorry it took so long, but it seems everytime I try and get ahead in chores something else comes up and no time for me, sucks.
It seems from the picture you have the 69987-09 cover, and then 67959-01 trim. No gasket. Hope that helps.
