Default Touring Stabilizers question

What options do we have when we are already using a Wheeldock centerstand? I am aware of the TRW Missing Link....any others?

The TWR is the only one you need I use the stand and stabilizer.

I like the looks, and the simplicity of the TRW, I just don't think those few parts look like $300.00! Maybe they are all that pricey, I don't know.

There are around a dozen brands of stabilizers or missing links out there! The topic has been covered many times on here, including which ones allow the use of a stand. Get yourself a long drink and go for a stroll through the Search!

Whatever else you do, get one - they are probably all as good as each other, but well worth it for the improved ride they give. I have kits on both my dresser and Dyna.

You can tell that I try to save money when I can (07 Standard) The TWR is well made looks good does not drag the ground and works well with the EZup stand. That is what sold me on it. They do all work some what the same, but they do not all look the same.

For $100.00 bucks less and, apparently, virtually the same thing, I'm liking that Progressive one! Thanks SteveB!

I have never experienced the "wobble", and until this spring never thought I needed a stabilizer. Recently though, it's like the rear whel wants to track on it's own, almost a rear-steer feeling.

Basically we're just adding another motor mount with these things, right?

I agree, I have both and they work very well together. Both easy to install and the TWR makes a big difference in the handling of the bike.

Progressive works well, works with center-stand and is the best price I have found.
