I ordered the slash ups yesterday. I like the way they match the contour of the bags, but I'm a little concerned about bumping them against the curb when I back the bike into it. I'll just have to remember it and be careful.
Why did you only use them for 10 minutes? Wife says I need louder pipes(than stock). Don't want to be to loud. Was considering Jackpots.
you would probably like the jackpots with the 2" baffle. they are definitely louder than stock but not something that would make it annoying on an all day ride. I wish now I would have got the 2.25" baffles to make it just a tad louder (my wife's heritage with 2" Rush are really loud)
I get confused over slash up, slash down etc. I got the Jackpots that followed the angle of the bags. I like them a lot, but I would get straights if I had it to do again. Unfortunately, picky as I am, I don't really like being able to see the baffles with the cut that I bought. They're very good mufflers in every other respect.
I got the slash downs, that way i don't see the taint...
If you want loud but not super loud I think you'll be happy with the Jackpots. At idle and on the highway they make a nice rumble but aren't tiring. Under load they bark pretty good.
