My painted inner fairing took about 4 weeks; the first time. When the mechanic (i'm being nice) put it on, he not ownly chipped the paint, but also scratched the chrome side plates next to the inner fairing which connects to the passing lights. Guess what, another 4 weeks and new chrome pieces later I had it just right. Mine was only pearl white. Root Beer.......Oh boy........Good Luck. A little advise, pick your mechanic, and be real nice to him.

Pacific Blue Pearl spoiler took 8 weeks last year from Chicago HD. Accident repairs this winter for same color gas tank, fairing and right lower fairing also took about 8 weeks from local dealer (House of Harley).

Default Mine was exactly 28 days from order to door.

It took me exactly 4 weeks to get mine from order to door. I am curious as to when you ordered the inner for your root beer. Was it during the 3/4 months that the color was available or after? Somebody told me that once that 3 months is over (or whatever the period is), that you can't get the paint anymore or painted parts. Sounds bit crazy since I would go nuts the first scratch I got, especially if I couldn't replace or repaint. Now I will have to look on harley's site and see if the root beer color inner fairing is something you can still order. My buddy has one and was wondering about the availability of the inner.
