Please forgive me if this has been a topic of this forum. I did a search and as of this date I could not find one person who has said anything bad about a red Sears motorcycle jack. I did my own test in Splendora Texas ans this is what I found.
The freaking jack is stable as all get out as long as you raise he jack up to close to its full height and the brace is in place. I then got on the Ultra with no tie downs and guess what it didnt fall off and it didnt disappoint me. I paid 56.00 dollars for this jack and I took a picture of this too. see my pictures.
Frank, I have a pitbull lift, I value my bike too much to trust a chinese sears lift. (nuthen but the best for ol Betty) wonder where the guy did his search at???
I agree either a pit bull or JS is only thing I would trust to move on. I think you just got lucky. But if youre comfortable lifting a $20k bike and mounting it with that flimsy jack go for it. I would only use it for maintenance and never climb on the bike to see if I can drop it.
