Default Exhaust change.

I currently have Rhinehart tru duals '04 era on FLT. I would like to keep the Rhinehart headers, and just replace the mufflers to a more subtle, deep bass tone. Any suggestions?
Thank You.

I like the Vance and Hines ovals....great sound at any RPM. I was reading a thread the other day and someone suggested sitting out in the local Harley parking lot and listen to the bikes that roll in....if a particular bike catches your ear...ask what pipe their runnin...just a thought.

Sitting at the dealer and listening to the bikes coming in is a good idea , but around here I tend to see alot of guys with the same exhaust either Rhineharts or Screaming Eagles.
There are many forum members here that have Monster Ovals and have given them good reviews.

Monster Ovals seem to be a favorite with many might do that farther but with the New Pythons already had they sound pretty good with the Vance and Hines True Duals so will leave them like that for a while anyway..

My friend just put pythons on his 09 RKC. What a sweet sound. I have SE on my 00 RK. They are loud but not the nice growl that the pythons have. Granted his is a 2009 96" and mine is a 88. But still I like the Python sound.

Your problem is going to be getting another muffler to fit the Rinehart header pipe. They are bigger than standard and none of the aftermarket mufflers I know of are going to fit. Maybe you can get some type of adaptor to work?
