I am going to put a set of V-H Dresser Duals on my 07 Ultra this weekend, I am planning on dumping in a canned map from the SERT disc until I can get it dynoed, what did you use?
Hows bottom end with the true duals? A friend of mine has rinehart true duals with the screamin eagle race tuner and air cleaner, had the dealer tune it and his bike is slow as hell. Has no low end power, we all blow him away going up the mountains. Id like to do a true dual setup, but after seeing how slow his bike is i really dont want to lose power. Also he gets horrible gas mileage. We will both fill up at the same time and hes on empty while im at just under a half tank. Both bikes are 08 dresssers.

I have V&H true duals and V&H Ovals on my bike. I bought the bike in January last year and put them on before I had rode very far - I didn't get a good feel for the performance without the duals other than the sum of all the mods (intake, duals, mufflers, EFI programmer) were an overall improvement. I have to think I have lost very little, if any, low end torque based on the dyno results. Also notice the flat torque curve on my dyno sheet - the bike pulls great off the line.
BTW, the lower HP and TQ lines were my tuning attempts before the dyno.
I've got the TD on with my SE II mufflers on my 05' FLHRSI. I don't feel any drop in power probably cos my mufflers add enough back pressure. I had to punch a small hole in em to get the dyno for my PC done right as the sensor had to be shoved in.
So Jay,did you do anything to the air cleaner or is it still stock?
Had the Arlen Ness Big Sucker and Python Slips before adding the true Duals as had to remove the pipes to add the Powdercoat Black Primary, Cam and Tranny Cover swapped the stock headers for the V&H True Duals and end result is feel money well spent as a few others have stated..
