Default Seat needed

I have a 2007 RK custom and need to find a seat that lowers me, pushes me forward, & and is narrower to allow me to reach the ground better.( I am only 5'3"). Also I ride 2up and I need the passenger area to be comfy for my wife but want it to be as low profile as possable. Any recomendations?

Mean City Cycles is a good Suggestion .. Harley also make a seat called "The Reach Seat" that is designed just to do what you are looking and at a fairly resonable price as far as seats go...

The Reach seats rear pillion is just to massive for my taste. As for mean city, they are one of my considerations. I am also looking at Corbin Close dual touring or solo +pillion, mustang solo+pillion & Lepera silhouette 2up.

A Corbin solo will definitely not push you forward. It may be a bit lower, though. I'd call Mean City and talk to them if I were you.

A Corbin Close Solo will definately push you forward as well as being narrower in the front for you vertically challenged people.

Make sure to get a "Close" one because the regular Corbin solo that I have gives me a lot more room.

stock, the corbin seat is not narrower in the front. when i got mine, i had to send i back for a 'nose job' so that i could reach the ground better.

try looking at c&c seats. i have their solo. does not sit as far back as the corbin, did not need a nose job right off the bat, sits pretty low, and is very comfortable. also has a very reasonable price. i've done several 800 - 1000 mile days and not had a problem.

Here is the description from Corbin on the CLOSE Solo.

"If you have a hard time handling the size of your Roadking because of reach, then perhaps the Close Solo is the right choice for you. This special version is designed with a lower seat height and a seating position closer to the bars. Additionally the nose is made narrower to help your ground reach."

it may 'say' that, but it could still be narrower. i think those statements may be relative to their solo seat, but definitely not compared to stock. my close solo sat further back and had a wider nose than the stock seat.
