Could someone shed some light on the difference between these 2 types HD hwy peg mounts. They both say they can be adjusted for short or tall riders. Anyone know pluses vs minuses between the two? Does height come into consideration of one vs other?
The only difference is the length of the arm to the peg. I bought the long arms and then thought they were a little close for my long legs (I'm 6'4" with a 35" inseam) so I sold them on ebay and bought the short arms (for tall riders). Put them on, not a big difference but gives me and inch or two extra stretch room.

Thanks Jimbo I am 5'9" and was leaning toward the short angle ones and wanted to make sure I wasn't making a mistake.
5'9" and I have the long extensions. I like to ride with my foot on the peg and heel on the floor board, so these work for me. I had the Kurykyn longhorns and both sides cracked where the peg attaches within a year.
I did the shorts for my bike. I adjusted them for many combinations. Heels on floor boards toes on pegs, feet on pegs, heels above pegs. I am 5'10", shorts work great and fold up perfect using the lowers.
