Default installed biketronics

got my biketronics kit yesterday with the sony 3700 radio and the ipod box set up thingy what-cha-ma-call-it. easy getting the old radio out but quit a beeeiiitttcch getting the new one in. (09 road glide). had to basically unbolt the bracket/radio mount and pull out far enough to slip in the radio. no big deal but when you unbolt the inner fairing drops down. just insert the bolts for the turn signal to hold it up. everything else went ok with the exception of all the wires makes it a little tough to get the headlights back in. i am one of those that pops them out so that it's easier to get the outer fairing back on. the best thing is with the ipod adaptor, you can plug in the ipod and it charges and you can control the ipod from the radio. it shows album, artist, etc. with the biketronics setup i still have all my control functions on the handlebars. i mounted the ipod box inside the fairing and cut a slot to where i can put the wire inside my glove box. installed a set of e glide goodies' glove box locks so i can hook up the ipod and lock it up. cruising down the highway i have radio, ipod, cd, aux. plug for nano, bluetooth, and a ubs slot if i want to go that route. now all i have to do is figure everything out. haven't even setup the clock yet!!!!

The iPod control would be sweet. Got any pics of the installed setup?

will get some pics. went ahead and changed cause my display went out on the stock unit. going to see if hd will replace since under warranty and put away for future reference. or sell on e-bay. sound is great. since i work at gm dealer and sales el-sucko right now i really didn't want to spend more than i did for the amps. already have hog tunes and they sound just fine for these 53 year old years.
