WD-40 may work.....also try liberal amounts of vaseline.
Let stand for a couple hours, before washing off.....
DO NOT bear down hard and scrubb, as you could do more
damage to your paint.
Depends what you call specks, if it's like overspray a clay bar may work. Road paint is some bad stuff..most of it won't come off with solvents and if it does it's probably going to hurt the OE finish.
Try the clay bar, and wax it like hangman said, I hate to say it, but most times I've seen heavy road paint it needs to be wet sanded and buffed..last resort. You can try lacquer thinner or acetone in a small area out of sight. good luck.
My sincerest thanks to one and all for the helpful info and opinions! Fortunately, it's just little specks like pin points. I tried H-D swirl and scratch remover and it will remove them, but it takes forever and there are still a lot of them left yet. I'll give the clay bar a try. I've never seen this product. Any ideas where I could get it?
This is the greatest site on earth to get help when I need it!!
Thanks again and ride safe,
John
