I am thinking about it my question is can you remove the stock fairing and have it painted or is it cheeper to order it already painted from HD?
Also how hard is it remove and reopalce the fairing?

great folks, make sure you dont let the wider portion of the shield come close to the inner fairing! I did, and now i will paint my spare inner to match up!
Good pricing also and .....no hissing or wind nosie etc.

Thanks to all of you I thought I could be done until next winter. Now it looks like I have to finish what HD started like all of you did and paint the inner, thanks a lot....LOL
