I have an 06 EG Classic. My neighbor & friend just bought an 06 Ultra. I noticed he has a felt linner in his tour pak and he got saddle bag pull outs, which I had to buy. Did I miss something when I bought mine, or does the Ultra come with it?
My classic has no liner just a rubber mat. I believe it is an option. My buddy's new Ultra came with the liner and he got pull out liners as well. I thought the dealer threw in the liners??
I put the tour pak liner in my tour pak (best $27.62 if spent) My tour pak doesn't have the brake light set up,but someday it might be added so i bought the liner that would allow this, #53278-97 has the molded area for the light sockets in the back corners. would like the saddlebag liners but i'm told they dont fit the police bags
Love my liner... and the storage pack in back... Took it off the other day to add a relocator kit... They should have been standard on the classic... too bad... Suggest you get one...
I got the liners on my Ultra - don't see the use unless on a long trip. Daily, I just pile my junk (gloves, cleaners, helmet, etc.) on top of the folded up liners. Does everyone else use these on a daily basis?
I got the liners and the removable bags for my Ultra. I also added the organizers to the tour Pak and the saddlebag lids. Also added the tool caddy strap on one saddle bag strap. This all allows me to keep small items in place so I can find them. Examples are, Asprin, tape, pencil and paper, extra glasses, even a small hair brush for the wife.
In the Saddle Bags, I keep small repair parts in the lid organizers, Bulbs, fusses, zip ties ect...
Makes things easy to find, and keeps things from being lost.
The felt liner for the tour pak, and the removable bags for them are standard on the ultra. I added the felt liners to the saddlebags cause I hate things banging around making noise.
My liners are in a closet somewhere. The felt liner in the tour pak does a good job of protecting/no rattles. I used the tour pak baggage on my trip last year which made overnight stops easy. The saddle bag liners take up too much room for storing jackets and such.
