Help! Cannot lock ignition / forks!

Stopped to pick up groceries today and now I can't lock the forks! I knew I should have went to the bar. The key turns fine. I can turn the bike on, off, and turn it to accessory, but I can't turn the ignition to lock the forks. I've never removed the ignition before.

Any help is appreciated.

Make sure your clutch cable isn't preventing you from turning your forks to full lock.

I couldn't push it down. It just started working again. Is there something I have to replace? I use to be able to rotate the ignition switch without pushing it down in the past. Now I have to push down to lock and I can't push down to turn to on. Wierd. Let me know what I should do.

She said yes but the only problem is she told me I had to sell my vette, my TL1000R, and my HD. Plus I may have to wait up to a year before buying a new one. Hell no!
