I have just talked to Terry and a group buy is not allowed on the forums unless it is a sponsor.
I think that is just ridiculous! I am all for supporting the sponsors (just placed a nice order with Jamie at Fuel Moto) but if there is not a sponsoring vendor offering the product we want as a group buy why should we be banned from doing a group buy...

Terry, can you explain this too us? I'm curious as well.

Me too........Hard to believe!! "Banned" from doing so? Huhh? I can understand that it cannot be "endorsed" by the forum, but nobody can tell you that you are "banned" from communicating with one another (via email or whatever) and placing an order. This isn't the Gestapo ! There is no intent of dissing a sponser of this site so to be honest, I can't understand why a MOD would even step in and stop this communication from happening in the first place. I guess I should go back and read the "terms".

A few months ago,a group buy was brought up and the same thing was said, so several of us started asking for a list of sponsors. Guess what, they never would provide a list. I see no way of knowing who is a sponsor and who is not.......
