FWIW, Fuel Moto has performed tests and claim their Dyno-Tuned Jackpots are 1.9db louder than stock with the 2" right baffle. With the available 1.75" baffle it would be even quieter, but be advised that although a 2db increase doesn't sound like much, it represents about a 25% increase in volume.

Since the OP has an 08 I would agree with you. However, if the bike was an 09 and from the land of fruits and nuts (CA) I would disagree.
