Chrome lower for 07 Ultra - Change Question

I am thinking about buying some chrome front lowers (fork I think thats what its called).

My question:

HAS ANYONE EVER CHANGED THE FORK LOWERS THEMSELVES?

How difficult is it to do.

What does and don'ts do you recommend.

Please only serious replies....

I did it myself and I'm glad I did. Not hard at all. The service manual came in handy for ignition removal, other than that, it's really straight-forward if you have any mechanical abilities at all.

Take your time and tape off your chrome and paint to prevent scratches.
