Unhappy I just can't win

My wife liked the back seat on our 09 Ultra and i hated the front so i ordered a sundowner and put it on today and went for a ride. I sit lower and forward about 1 inch and really like it but my wife hates her seat. Says its to hard and does not lean her back like the stock seat did. Now what do i do. I can't get a new wife, it took 43 years to train this one. ugh.

The bike was there when she got there, it'll be there when she leaves. Take her seat off and let her ride the fender. The new one will feel good in comparison.

Have you looked at Mean City Cycles? They do seat mods for you and/or your passenger. I had mine done over the winter, unfortunately between the weather and work I haven't been able to give it a good test drive, but there are a lot of satisfied customers on this board and I'm confident both the wife and I will be happy with the mods they made to my stock seat. Check them out at www.meancitycycles.com

Thanks Windup i checked out their website and they sound good. I may have them put the stock seat shape on the rear of the sundower. Richard

We rented a road glide in Kauai and it had to be the worst bike i have ever rode. The seat sucked and the bike was like riding a wood stove on a hot day. It was a FLHX and the frt end floped when you went around a cornor and the bike felt like it had a hinge in the middle. So thanks but no thanks on the rode glide seat.

I don't understand, you say you rented a road glide and it was an FLHX? The FLHX is a street glide and yes the seat on those suck IMO. A Road Glide is an FLTR and the seats are much better on those IMO.
